Kathleen Riach is an Associate Professor in the Department of Management at Monash Business School.
Her expertise is in the area of ageing at work and the role of the body in organizational life. Her research leads to exploring aspects of everyday working life that are rarely articulated or discussed formally within businesses but nonetheless have a significant impact of how people feel, think and behave in terms of their professional identities.
As a critical scholar, Kathleen has a particular interest in exploring the sociological experience of growing up and older at work. She has published widely on issues surrounding older worker inequalities and the embodied experience of ageing across the working life course.
