Associate Professor Dominique Allen teaches Employment Law in the Department of Business Law and Taxation.
She is currently conducting research projects on the enforcement of discrimination claims, pregnancy discrimination, the need for data and transparency in increasing equality, and the role of statutory equality commissions in Australia and internationally.
Dominique has published widely in law journals in Australia and internationally on anti-discrimination law, sexual harassment, equality, and human rights. She regularly presents at local and international conferences and contributes to local and national law reform inquiries.
She published the third edition of Australian Anti-Discrimination and Equal Opportunity Law with Neil Rees AM and Simon Rice OAM in 2018.
Dominique is a member of the Labour, Equality and Human Rights (LEAH) research group in the Monash Business School. She has served as Secretary of the Australian Labour Law Association since 2016.
