Nicole Black (née Au) is an Associate Professor at the Centre for Health Economics, Monash Business School.
Her research is currently funded by an Australian Research Council (ARC) Discovery Early Career Researcher Award (DECRA) to investigate children’s cognitive development and health, and an ARC Discovery Project to investigate socioeconomic inequalities in mental health care.
Nicole is currently co-editor of Health Economics Letters and associate editor of Health Economics.
Nicole’s research interests include child health and development, economics of mental health, economics of obesity, socioeconomic inequalities in health care utilisation and measurement issues in health and wellbeing.
