Dr Emma Zhang completed her PhD at the University of New South Wales and joined Monash University as a Lecturer of Finance in 2017.

Her research interests include corporate governance, corporate finance and behavioural finance. Emma’s papers have been accepted for publication in Journal of Financial Economics and Financial Management and have been presented at conferences such as the American Economic Association (AEA) Annual Meeting, the Northern Finance Association (NFA) Annual Meeting, the Financial Intermediation Research Society (FIRS) Annual Conference, and China International Conference in Finance (CICF).

Her papers have been cited by Financial Times, Havard Law School Forum on Corporate Governance and Financial Regulation, the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and BusinessThink UNSW.
