Leonie Wood is an award-winning journalist and author, and a communications consultant and writer. Over a career spanning more than three decades, she worked at The Age/The Sydney Morning Herald, The Australian Financial Review, Australian Associated Press and The Sun News-Pictorial. She has specialised in news reporting, features and analysis, focusing on all aspects of business and finance, legal affairs, commercial law cases and policy. From 2012 to 2016, she was the chief editorial writer at The Age. Leonie holds a Master of Commercial Law from the University of Melbourne. Her book, Funny Business — The Rise and Fall of Steve Vizard, won the 2008 Blake Dawson Award for Business Literature.
