Professor Stephen Brown is in the Department of Banking and Finance at Monash Business School and an Emeritus Professor at New York University Stern School of Business.
He has published widely in a range of high quality journals, including Econometrica, the Journal of Finance, the Journal of Financial Economics, the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, the Review of Financial Studies, and the Journal of Business. He is the author of five books. Stephen was a founding editor of the Review of Financial Studies and former Managing Editor of the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis.
