Ralph Kober is an Associate Professor of Accounting at Monash University with a broad range of research interests spanning management accounting, accounting education, intellectual disability and quality of life.

Ralph completed his PhD in 2006 from The University of Western Australia. His research has been published in a variety of accounting, education and psychology journals including Management Accounting Research, Accounting and Business Research, Accounting and Finance, Education + Training, Financial Accountability and Management, Journal of Intellectual Disability Research, and Journal of Policy and Practice in Intellectual Disabilities.

Prior to joining Monash University, he spent three years at The University of Auckland and 14 years at The University of Western Australia.

Ralph has also been actively involved with both academic and professional associations, having previously held various positions of responsibility across numerous associations, including being Vice President of the New Zealand Branch of CPA Australia.

Ralph was actively involved in the establishment of the Qualitative Research Special Interest Group of AFAANZ.
